CYSA's philosophy is to provide a structured, enjoyable, and learned softball experience for the youth of Chaska and surrounding areas.   CYSA offers two softball programs for our youth: In-House (recreational) and Traveling (competitive).

CYSA is affiliated with the Chaska Parks, Recreation, and Arts Department, but, equal status is given to all girls from the area covered by School District 112.

Hitting and Slapping clinics will go over the mechanics and concepts that will give each athlete a solid knowledge-base heading into the winter months.  Athletes will be introduced to drills that will break down parts of their swing while going through a hitting/slapping circuit.  Each participant will be given a written practice plan containing concepts, drills, and focus points of each session.

A.J. continues to introduce and reinforce pitching skills to those new to the pitching world of fastpitch softball.  We will be meeting on Thursday nights in September & October.

When:       Thursdays, 6:30-7:30
                   (start time will switch to 6:00 later in fall)

Registrations are now being accepted for the 2011 season for 14U Traveling Softball.

Tryouts will be held on September 11 at the Chaska High School softball fields from 9am-11am (please come a little early to warm up and sign in).  Click here to register your daughter for the 14U 2011 Fall Ball season. We realize that some did not have a chance to try out and some only had one opportunity to try out. Since we take each player's best daily score, we are offering one last try out opportunity.
