CYSA In-House Parent Volunteer Policy


Cysa is comprised entirely of parent volunteers. The success of CYSA depends on many volunteers and with that in mind, the in-House league is implementing a new policy requiring a minimum of hours from each parent/family.

2010 Season Policy

Each player/family will be assessed a $25 volunteer fee upon registration, collected via check. The check will be held until the end of the season. Each parent/family is required to volunteer for a minimum of 2 hours in some capacity. Opportunities are listed below. At the end of the season, if the volunteer requirement has been fulfilled, the check will be destroyed.

**Players will not receive a uniform until volunteer check has been received***

The following positions are exempt from the volunteer requirement:

Board Members
Head/Asst Coach
Equipment Coordinator
Uniform Coordinator
Volunteer Coordinator
Umpire Coordinator
Tournament Coordinator
Field/Maintenance Coordinator
Registration Coordinator
Concessions Coordinatior
Other Key Coordinators as deemed neccessary

Volunteers are needed within each of those categories. Please submit your interest on the registration page. You will be contacted during the season.

There will be other opportunities throughout the season. Volunteer requests will be posted on the website.
