Chaska Youth Softball Association

Welcome to CYSA's internet dugout.  CYSA's goal is to provide the youth of Chaska and its surrounding communities the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of softball in a safe, fun, and positive environment while teaching the values of teamwork and sportsmanship.  CYSA offers two softball programs for its youth:   In-House (recreational) and Traveling (competitive).  CYSA is affiliated with the Chaska Parks, Recreation, and Arts Department, but equal status is given to all girls from the area covered by School District 112.

2018 Fall Ball

Fall Ball Registration is now open!  This is a condensed travel season where the primary focus is on player development and providing players with additional repetitions.  The season is a more relaxed setting than the regular travel season and is offered at the 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U levels.

Fall Ball provides those players that have been in-house players to get a sense of what travel ball is if they have interest in travel ball in 2019.  It also provides travel players moving up in age group for 2019 the opportunity to get accustomed to any changes in pitching, base running, etc., as players typically play at the age level they will play at next season.

Teams play one afternoon per weekend.  Following each week, the teams are re-seeded and eventually are paired against equally talented teams for the Fall Ball State Tournament.

As always, we would greatly appreciate to hear from parents that would be interested in sharing their support for the girls and knowledge of the game through coaching this fall.
